Costa Rica is world-famous for beautiful sun-drenched beaches, hospitality and wildlife. Word has recently come out that we may also soon be known as the home of a certain pair of washed up celebrities.

TMZ is reporting that obnoxious Hollywood couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have been offered $100,000 to leave the U.S. and relocate to Costa Rica.

It appears that an offshore gambling site has offered them a regular job to “manage the odds and lines surrounding the entertainment sector ‐- ranging from celebrity news and pop culture to music and movies.” Sure, it’s an attractive offer for them, but what about us?

The last time the pair were in Costa Rica filming the ill-fated NBC television program, “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!”, they left a rather sour impression. It doesn’t seem like they fit very well with the “Pura Vida” philosophy.

Hopefully, the local immigration authorities will have a thorough look into any work visas that may be required. That’s one U.S. export nobody in Costa Rica will be shopping for.
