Every Friday evening and Saturday morning, the farmer’s market comes to Quepos. Trucks arrive loaded with all sorts of farm products: fresh produce and poultry, baked goods, cheese, fruit preserves – even ornamental plants. They set up stands along street at the seawall and everyone goes to stock up on the fresh food.

When you go, don’t miss the fresh orange juice / sugar cane juice extractor stand. You can buy it by the cup or the liter. You can get the orange juice pure or with sugar cane juice mixed in.

It’s a really great experience with a unique Costa Rican flavor.
