The recently constructed Caldera highway will be closed for “at least” three weeks as repairs began last Sunday the 19th.

The heavy rains last November washed away part of the road at kilometer 47 and now the materials are here to make the permanent repairs.

Happily, the highway south to Dominical continues to ease travel times for visitors in that direction.
