The little hamlet of Manuel Antonio is coming alive with activity. Everywhere you turn, you see people putting the finishing touches on their preparations for Christmas plans and the coming high season. Buildings are being freshly painted, plants are being trimmed, and supplies are being delivered.

November’s extra rain forced some projects to be put on hold but now there’s no more waiting.

The return of the sun is like a giant nuclear-powered spotlight, fueling our daily routines and, in some cases, fueling our last-minute urgency to make certain everything is perfect for our holiday guests.
